NDSI & Briggs Corporation Announce Electronic Forms Automation

For the past 60 years, Briggs Corporation has been the leading supplier of forms and documentation products to home health agencies and hospitals. Briggs currently serves more than 40,000 health care customers and offers more than 9,000 different products. Briggs forms have become the standard of the industry by incorporating the complete range of clinical data in the most direct and concise format available.

Through a recently formed cooperative distribution relationship with Briggs, NDSI will be the first homecare software manufacturer to offer its customers the ability to utilize the wide range of Briggs forms in an integrated electronic format. Managed in conjunction with NDSI’s proprietary ARIES Document System, Briggs forms will utilize ARIES HTML capabilities to offer customers the option of using “virtual forms”, input screens that mirror the ubiquitous Briggs paper forms. Once one of these “virtual forms” is started, it becomes a component of the patient’s electronic medical record (EMR) or the patient’s schedule (i.e., a PT evaluation). Completed forms can then be printed any time the agency wants a hard copy of the form or even a printout of the complete electronic medical record.

This collaboration creates peace of mind for the customer in clinical excellence and regulatory compliance that Briggs represents, combined with ease of use and state of the art functionality offered by NDSI systems.
